Questions for Balancing Health?
Patient Expectation?
With over 30 years of professional experience, Paul is highly trained and accredited, ensuring that you receive expert care at every visit. You will always be treated with the utmost dignity and respect and the highest standards of ethical conduct will be maintained throughout your treatment.
How long should I book for a massage treatment?
Appointments range from 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes.
Generally we recommend a 30 minute session is sufficient time for the treatment of one problem area, e.g. neck and shoulder.
A 45-60 minute appointment is sufficient to cover two to three areas, e.g. lower back, neck and shoulders, or legs and gluteus.
While a 60 to 90 appointment will allow for a full body treatment.
First Appointment
An initial consultation will require a 60 minute appointment as this will allow for an assessment and discussion time. Based on our knowledge and experience we have elected this 60 minute minimum session time, so we may provide you with the most effective treatment you require. If you wish to discuss further please contact our office locations or leave your details via our contact page so we contact you.
What oil do we use?
We have a variety of oil and balm options, they are formulated to be gentle and skin-safe, suitable for regular topical use. Options include: Jojoba, Grape Seed, Apricot, Coconut and Melrose H2O water dispersible oil, and fisiocrem soluble (muscle and joint relief gel for pain and recovery). In general they are unscented and generally considered safe for sensitive skin.
What payment methods do you accept?
Hicaps is available and should you be eligible through a health fund (please check prior to know your eligibility) your rebate will apply at time of payment.
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards. At checkout, you will have the option to choose your preferred payment method.
What should I wear?
As part of your assessment and treatment, we will need to view the area of the body being treated. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and removal (as appropriate to the area being treated and undergarments remain on at all times).
Do I need a referral?
A referral is only required if you intend to claim your treatment through a compensable body (e.g. WorkCover or similar). Please note payment in full is required at treatment and receipt will be supplied for you to follow up with your compensation provider. For any questions about claiming, please contact us.
Where can I park?
Both locations have access to ample off-street parking at the rear of the clinic. Our clinics also have designated disability parking.
